Fans tuning in for Anyma’s highly anticipated Coachella set were met with disappointment late Friday after the artist’s performance was canceled due to severe weather conditions.
Anyma, who was scheduled to take the Main Stage around midnight during Weekend 1 of Coachella, was forced to pull out after strong winds affected the production and stage setup for his live show. Festival organizers announced the cancellation shortly after his scheduled start time, citing safety as the top priority.
The cancellation quickly sparked a wave of reactions online, with fans searching for updates on whether the performance would be rescheduled during Weekend 2. As of Saturday, no makeup set has been officially confirmed.
Despite the setback, Coachella’s first weekend continues with one of its biggest livestream offerings yet. The 2026 festival is streaming all seven stages live on YouTube, allowing fans around the world to watch performances from home for free. The livestream began Friday at 4 p.m. PT and will run continuously through Sunday, with coverage returning for Weekend 2 from April 17 to 19.
This year’s headliners include Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G. Friday’s stream featured Carpenter’s headline set along with performances from the xx, Devo, Disclosure and Blood Orange. Weekend 2 is expected to follow the same lineup.
Fans can watch live by visiting Coachella’s official YouTube channel or using the festival’s app, which includes personalized reminders, schedule syncing and on-demand replays. New features this year include multi-view streaming and 4K feeds for select stages.
For fans wondering whether Anyma will return next weekend, organizers have only said that further updates will be shared if plans change.
